The UL certification and trademark are incredibly important to businesses and buyers within the control panel and automation industry. If you are not familiar, a UL certification is an industrial control panel directive sought by electrical inspectors. The UL certification and listing on a control panel means that the panel complies with industry-required safety standards.

UL 508A Certification: standard for industrial control panels for general industrial use.
UL 698A Certification: standard for industrial control panels for hazardous locations & environments.
UL 1203 Certification: standard for explosion-proof and dust-ignition-proof electrical equipment and control panels for use in hazardous environments.
